FriMi Shines at SLIM Brand Excellence

FriMi, Sri Lanka’s first fully-fledged digital bank, made history for Nations Trust Bank at the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards 2021 winning Bronze for the Online Brand of the Year 2021 Award. FriMi was also nominated for the Turnaround Brand of the Year and Service Brand of the Year at the 20th SLIM Brand Excellence Award ceremony that took place recently.

The SLIM Brand Excellence Awards is a national celebration of brands that rewards the outstanding efforts of exceptional marketers. It aims to encourage best practices, elevate local brands to global standards, and enhance the image of the marketing in the country. The “Online Brand of the Year” honours brands that originated, operate and excel on internet and mobile platforms. A panel of distinguished jurors followed systemic evaluation criteria to choose the winners, looking for those elusive qualities which elevate a brand above a sea of nondescript products.
