Zimbabwe bowl first in second T-20 International

Zimbabwe elected to bowl first after winning the toss in the second T-20 International against Sri Lanka in Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka did one change to the side that won the opening game by bringing in Dilshan Madushanka in place of Nuwan Thushara. The left-arm quick was overlooked for the opening game after featuring in the three match ODI series but he is back in the side after Thushara was wayward in the first T-20 of the series.

Zimbabwe opted to play the same team that featured in the first game.

Sri Lanka lead the three match series 1-0. The final T-20 International will be played on Thursday.

Sri Lanka: Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis (Wicketkeeper), Kusal Perera, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Charith Asalanka, Angelo Mathews, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga (Captain), Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera and Dilshan Madushanka.

Zimbabwe:

Tinashe Kamunhukamwe, Craig Ervine, Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza(Captain), Ryan Burl, Clive Madande (Wicketkeeper), Luke Jongwe, Wellington Masakadza, Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani and Brian Bennett.
