Yuhansa, Rishit win Under 12 singles titles

Yuhansa Peiris of Bishops College and Rishit Somarathna of Ananda College won the Under 12 girls’ and boys’ singles titles respectively of the 107th Colombo Championships at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts on Tuesday.

While Peiris beat Annaya Norbert 6-4, 6-2 in the girls’ final, Somaratne edged out Ashlin de Silva 3-6, 7-5, 11-9 in the boys’ final.

The men’s open doubles title was won by Yashitha de Silva and Dilvan Herath who beat Ashen Silva and Srinath Udayachandran 6-1, 6-1 in the final.
