ATF Under 14 Week 2 Tennis

Yuhansa Peiris and Kajhan Ajhesh won the girls’ and boys’ singles titles of the ATF Under 14 Week 2 Tennis tournament at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts.In the girls’ final, Yuhansa beat Week I tournament semi-finalist Eliza Kahagalla in straight sets (4-1, 4-1) to bag the title.

In the semi-finals, Yuhansa beat Diyana Faith 4-0, 4-0, while Kahagalla received a walkover from Annaya Norbert.

The boys’ final saw Kajhan Ajhesh registering a 5-3, 4-1 win over Mayonan Kubehrra While Kubheran beat David Avayou of Canada 4-0 2-0 (the latter retired) to earn the final spot, Ajhesh knocked out Ashlin de Silva 5-3,4-1 in his semi-final.
