Yuhansa, Kajan win back-to-back titles

ATF Under 14 Week 2 Tennis

Yuhansa Peiris (Sri Lanka) and Leyal Knese (German) won the girls’ doubles title while Ajesh Kajan (Sri Lanka) and Nevan Kannangara bagged the boys’ doubles title of the ATF Under 14 Week 2 tennis tournament concluded at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts.

It was the second consecutive title within days for both Yuhansa and Kajan who won the girls’ and boys’ singles titles of this tournament earlier.

Peiris and Knese beat Indian pair of Sanmita Harini and Pruta Rao 4-1, 4-2 in the girls’ final.

In the boys’ final, the Sri Lanka pair beat David Ava Yoy of Canada and Andre Harnadi of Singapore 6-3, 3-6, 11-9.
