Youth who videoed woman bathing in hot water

The Jaffna Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday (09) remanded a young man from Kopai for 14-days after he was arrested for videoing a young woman who was bathing without her consent.

The court had initially set a surety bail of 100 000 rupees for his release after the lawyer representing the suspect requested bail. However, no one came forth to post bail and therefore he was remanded.The youth had been walking when he saw the woman bathing. Then he started videoing her. Her relatives caught the suspect and took him to the police station.
