SSC Open Tennis championship   

The semi-finalists of the women’s singles were found in the SSC Open Tennis Championship continued at the SSC tennis courts on Thursday. Dinara de Silva, Dinethya Dharmarathne, Tuwini de Alwis and Saajida Razick secured semi-final spots.

While top seed Dinara de Silva will meet Dinethya Dharmarathne, Tuwini de Alwis will encounter second seed Saajida Razick in the bottom half semi-final.

 Quarter-final results 

Saajida Razick beat Hasali Gajaba 7-5, 6-3.

Dinethya Dharmarathne beat Inuki Jayaweerea 6-1, 6-3

Tuwini de Alwis beat Melesa Kavindi 6-2, 6-2
