Wimal: Basil undermining country to help West advance its agenda

Former Industries Minister Wimal Weerawansa yesterday said Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa aggravated the economic crisis to weaken the country to the level of becoming easy prey to the Western nations.

Speaking to journalists outside the Colombo Magistrate Court, Weerawansa said, “He wants to weaken the nation so that the western powers could advance their agenda here. We cannot keep quiet.
