Will he be able to COPE?

Amidst continuing protests, newly-appointed COPE Chairman Rohitha Abeygunawardena, chaired the first meeting of the committee on Tuesday (19) at the parliamentary complex. Auditor General W. P. C. Wickremeratne is seen seated next to the MP. Nearly a dozen COPE members have so far resigned in protest against Abeygunawardena’s appointment as COPE Chairman.
