Why doubt only Kali’s cure?

Iraq was conquered and caused massive destruction by Americans, in search of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). As there were no WMDs at the end, the US President’s justification was that he invaded Iraq because he heard God telling him that there were WMDs in Iraq.

Then again, after winning the war in Iraq, one US Army commander said he was able to win the war, because his God was more powerful than that of Saddam Hussein. Some millions of Iraqi children died due to this invasion. and congenital abnormality were common in newborn babies due to use of uranium depleted bombs.

Now comes an indigenous medical man from Kegalle, with the power of God Kali, offering to cure Covid-19. Surely he is not going to do as much damage as mentioned above, even if allowed to go in full potency (and I feel he will never be allowed). According to the news media, he has already been labelled with some minor psychiatric illness due to the involvement of God Kali.

Can someone explain why the two powerful persons were not taken in the same perspective ?
