Where Will She Go From Here?

Womanhood’s been savaged,

And made to sink to its knees,

By no less a mighty quarter,

Than the Long Arm of the Law itself,

And what more proof do we need,

That She’s in enslaving chains?

But where will She go for redress?

Who will evenly hold the scales,

Declare Her dignity as sacred,

And bring Her ravagers to justice?

The answers are plain to see,

And are not ‘Blowing in the Wind’….

Putting things right for Her,

Couldn’t be left to the barren conscience,

Which does not see in Her suffering Self,

A brutally humiliated Mother or Daughter.
