Weerasekera voted against 22A

Colombo District MP Admiral (Rtd.) Sarath Weerasekera has said he did not abstain from voting on the third reading of 22A, in Parliament on Friday.He voted against it, as he had done on the second reading, he has said.Weerasekera said on Saturday that his vote had been incorrectly recorded and rechecked after he complained. “It was established that I had voted against the Bill and the parliamentary authorities have promised to issue a correction to the press,” he said.
