WB funds acquisition of 60 ambulances

Sri Lanka has acquired 60 ambulances, under a loan provided by the World Bank. The Health Ministry yesterday (26) said that each ambulance cost Rs 24.4 mn. The Ministry said that this was in line with a World Bank backed project to improve the public health sector, in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.
