Wanuja takes five wickets

Former St. Peter’s College all rounder Wanuja Kumara took five wickets in the first innings to follow up his half century as Sri Lanka ‘A’ forced Afghanistan ‘A’ to follow on day three of the unofficial Test at P Sara Oval on Monday.

The left arm spinner’s five wicket haul helped the hosts restrict Afghanistan to 198 runs in reply to their 435 runs.

Following on Afghanistan were 108 for two wickets at stumps still trailing by 129 runs.
