Visiting Commanders call on SLAF chief

Commander of the Pacific Air Force, General Kenneth Wilsbach, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force and Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, Chief of the Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force called on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF), Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana on Thursday at SLAF Headquarters.

The visiting senior security officials, who had separate meetings with the SLAF Commander, were received on arrival by the Commanding Officer, SLAF Station Colombo, Air Vice Marshal Janaka Amarasinghe and were accorded a Guard-of-Honour by the Colour Squadron of the SLAF.

They also met with the Chief of Staff and the Air Force Board of Management after which official plaques were exchanged.

The three Commanders are visiting Sri Lanka on the invitation of the SLAF Commander to participate in the President’s Colour Awarding Parade to mark the 70th Anniversary celebrations of the SLAF.
