Vindya Perera wins Young Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award at WCIC Prathibhabhisheka Awards

Vindya Perera, Managing Directress at Brilliant Cuts (Pvt) Ltd, won the Young Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award at the recently held ‘WCIC Prathibhabhisheka – The Women Entrepreneur Awards 2022’ organized by the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC). Vindya Perera received the award at the event that was held under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe and first lady Prof. Maithree Wickremesinghe in Colombo. A certified gemmologist at the National Gem and Jewellery Authority Sri Lanka, Vindya has emerged in recent times as a force to be reckoned with in the industry and attempts to be a role model to inspire aspiring female entrepreneurs. She has won a number of local and international awards for her tireless and innovative work.

“This is a great honour for me. As a successful female entrepreneur, I want to inspire other women to venture into business. I want young women to rise to the top in their fields. Winning the award for Young Woman Entrepreneur of the Year is very special for me,” she said.
