Vidyaloka, Ananda Sastralaya joint champions

Vidyaloka College Galle and Ananda Sastralaya Kotte were declared joint champions of the Under 19 Division III Tier A Limited Overs cricket tournament after the all important final was hampered by rain at Sooriyawewa yesterday.

Vidyaloka were 108 for no loss in 20 overs when the match was stopped for rain. While Prageeth Bimsara scored 43 runs Dasun Chamod was unbeaten on 52 runs.

Prasanna Senevirathne, Vice President of Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and Principal of Vidyaloka College Galle, Leelananda Kumarasiri, Assistant Secretary of SLSCA, Y. Nishantha Kumara, Tournament Secretary SLSCA were present at the awards ceremony.
