Veteran singer Tony Hassan interred at Maligawatte Muslim burial ground

Burial of veteran singer Tony Hassan took place at the Maligawatte Muslim burial ground last evening.The renowned singer was 73, family sources said.He rose to popularity with his renditions of popular Hindi songs over a span of five decades.To his credit are also several original Sinhala songs including a duet with the late veteran singer Sujatha Attanayaka.
