Ven. Rathana moves SC to save his NL seat

Ape Jana Bala Pakshaya National List MP Ven. Athurelite Rathana thera has moved the Supreme Court against a decision taken by his party to expel him from Parliament.

Last week, Samagi Jana Balavegaya National List MP Diana Gamage sought the Supreme Court intervention to save her seat. SJB has decided to sack her for voting for the 20th Amendment to the Constitution.
