Vadivel defects from SJB

Samagi Jana Balawegaya Nuwara Eliya District MP Vadivel Suresh yesterday said that in the future he would engage in political activities with Minister Harin Fernando, who left the SJB last year and joined the government.

MP Suresh said that he had no hopes of remaining in the SJB any longer and criticised the actions of Opposition and SJB leader Sajith Premadasa.

Suresh attended a meeting chaired by Minister Fernando in Badulla on Sunday.
