USD 15 mn boost for Port sector­

Sri Lanka has received USD 15 mn donation for the development of human resources in the Port sector.The Ports, Shipping and Aviation Ministry yesterday (01) said that funds would be utilised over the next three years to provide100 foreign scholarships to personnel involved in operations and technical divisions.

The agreement in this regard was finalised at the Colombo Marriott in the presence of Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva and US Ambassador Julie Chung.
