Parkway Cancer Centre Singapore, in collaboration with CanHope Colombo, hosted an exclusive two day medical workshop in Sri Lanka, featuring speakers and leaders from the healthcare industry. This event, took place recently, provided a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to gain valuable insights from international experts in the fields of oncology and haematology.

The first-day seminar, ‘Update on Cancer: Oncological and Haematological Perspective,‘ was exclusively conducted for the local Oncology doctors (members of the Srilanka College of Oncology) by Dr. Tanujaa Rajasekeran, a Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology, MBBS (Singapore), MRCP (UK), MMed (Internal Medicine), and FAMS, and Dr. Dawn Mya Hae Tha, Senior Consultant in Haematology, MBBS (Yangon), MRCP (UK), and FRCPath (UK).

This engaging session was aimed to cover the latest advancements in oncology and haematology, providing attendees with valuable insights into the evolving landscape of cancer care.

The content-rich program sought to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals and foster a deeper understanding of cancer from both oncological and haematological perspectives.

The day-two seminar gave insights into the topic of ‘Bispecific Antibodies and CAR T-Cell Therapy in Multiple Myeloma and Lymphoma,’ and was hosted by Dr. Dawn Mya Hae Tha from Parkway hospital Singapore

The session delved into the cutting-edge developments in bispecific antibodies and CAR T-cell therapy, with a specific focus on their application in treating multiple myeloma and lymphoma.
