Unidil of Vallibel One PLC donates negative pressure ventilation system to District Hospital Gampaha

Unidil, a leading corrugated carton manufacturer in Sri Lanka, in yet another community support initiative has made a donation of Negative Pressure Ventilation System to Covid Intensive Care Unit of Gampaha District Hospital at a cost of Rs. 1.2 million.

This unit vacuums all the negative air at ICU unit and helps to supply clean air to the ICU Unit. Without this system, the unit cannot operate as infected air may affect the other patients and the hospital staff. The donation took place at the hospital premises with the participation of Bannet Gamalath – CEO, Indika Ilukkumbura – Finance Manager, Mangala Subasinghe – Head of Sales & Marketing, Dileepa Dananjaya- Head of HR Unidil Packaging and the Director of the Gampaha District Hospital, Dr. Priyantha Illeperuma. This donation was gmade on the request of Dr. Sampath Kulathunga.

Unidil is the packaging arm of the business conglomerate of Vallibel One PLC.
