Underworld hitmen shoot wrong man?

A 30-year-old man was injured in a shooting incident at Auburn Place, Dehiwala on Saturday (19) night and admitted to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital.

According to Dehiwala Police, two unidentified persons who came on a motorcycle shot at a person near the playground at Auburn Place on Saturday night and fled.

The police say that the injured person had returned from work and was standing in front of his house when he came under attack.

The police suspect that the target of the hitmen was someone else.

Dehiwala Police are conducting investigations to arrest the suspects.
