Undergrad arrested with drugs

Police have arrested a Jaffna University student who had narcotics in his possession on Wednesday (20).This is the third Jaffna University student arrested with drugs recently, police say.
The student was staying at a hostel at Kondavil Junction, Jaffna.The police Special Task Force (STF) was tipped off that the student keeps a large cache of drugs in his room and that he sells drugs to youth, including other university students.
The STF inspected his room and found 250 grams of Kerala cannabis, 52 packets of Mawa, a chewing tobacco with a high presence of lethal cancer-causing chemicals, and 68 tablets of cannabis mixed aphrodisiacs.Police have arrested two other Jaffna university students recently with drugs, and they have been remanded.
