Under 18 boys’ and girls’ singles semi-finalists found 

Tennis National Championship 2021

The semi-final line ups of both the Under 18 boys’ and girls’ singles were completed at the Tennis National Championship 2021 continued at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts on Friday.

While women’s national singles champion Anjalika Kurera and Saajida Razick won their respective matches to reach the semi-finals of the Under 18 girls’ singles, Thehan Wijemanne, Kiran Vairavanathan, Zaidh Zihar and Dhilvan Herath won their respective quarter-finals in the Under 18 boys’ singles.

Vishmi Serasinghe and Taniya Doloswala were the winners of the other two quarter-finals which were played previously.

Men’s Singles Quarter Finals

Thehan Wijemanne beat Wenuka Kithnula 4-6, 6-1, 10-6.

Kiran Vairavanathan beat Hesara Kuruppu 7-5, 6-4.

Zaidh Zihar beat Thilina Dissanayake 6-2, 6-4.

Dhilvan Herath beat Vichinthya Nilaweera 6-4, 6-4.

Women’s Singles Quarter Finals

Anjalika Kurera beat Dinethya Dharmaratne 6-1, 6-1.

Saajida Razick beat Nishka Vivekanandann 6-3, 6-0.
