Under 16 boys’ singles reaches round of 32

Tennis Nationals 2022

Karthi Udayachandran, Aweesh Ganegoda, Meneshka Ratnasingham, Gehash Tissera,

Manesh Kajan and Rehan Gunawardhana won their respective Under 16 boys’ singles matches of the Tennis Nationals 2022 continued at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts on Tuesday.

The winners reached the round of 32 before some of the matches including that of the second seed Vichinthya Nilaweera and Avincka Amarasinghe were interrupted by rain.

Thilina Dissanayake is the top seed in this age category event. Dissanayake has reached the round of 16 after registering 6-0, 6-0 wins against Jithesh Thirukumaran and Thanushgar Kokilathas.
