Two schoolboys remanded for sexually abusing young girls and posting their nude pictures on Internet

The Kandy Magistrate’s Court has remanded till Jan 01 two schoolboys for posting nude pictures of schoolgirls on the Internet.

The suspects, residents of Kandy are alleged to have sexually abused schoolgirls as well as young girls.

The suspects were arrested following a complaint lodged with the Child and Women’s Bureau of the Kandy Police by a 15-year-old girl and her mother.

The victim had a love affair with one of the suspects who had sexually abused her at her residence on multiple occasions, according to the police.  The suspect had introduced the victim to one of his friends and together they had taken her to a lodge, where they gave her a drink which made her unconscious. Thereafter they took nude pictures and videos of the victim. Later on, they blackmailed her into having sex with them repeatedly.

Police investigations have revealed that the suspects had shared videos of the victims with their friends.

Police investigations have also found similar explicit videos of other schoolgirls and young women on the mobile phone of one of the suspects.

The owner and manager of the lodge where the victims were abused and filmed were taken into custody and produced before the Magistrate, who ordered them remanded until 22 Dec.
