Two ITF events start at SLTA today

Sri Lanka teams will commence the Junior Davis Cup and Junior Billie Jean King Cup campaigns at Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts today. Sixteen boys’ teams and 14 girls’ teams will compete in the Junior Davis Cup and Junior Billie Jean King Cup respectively.

The events will go on till February 26. The teams taking part in the boys’ event are from Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Iraq, Laos, Mongolia, Qatar, Turkmenistan, Guam, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen and Sri Lanka.

The girls’ teams are from Bangladesh, Guam, Malaysia, Nepal, Pacific Oceania, Saudi Arabia, Brunel, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, Turkmenistan and Sri Lanka.
