Total Covid-19 cases over 40,000

The Health Ministry yesterday (29) said 704 more had recovered from COVID-19 and the total number of recoveries had reached 33,925. The Ministry placed the number of infections and deaths reported so far at 41,603 and 195, respectively. The Western Province comprising the administrative districts of Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara is the worst affected.
