Three more tourists who arrived in Sri Lanka, on Tuesday, from Ukraine had tested positive for COVID-19, Deputy Director General of Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath said yesterday.

All six cases were among the 204 Ukrainian tourists, who arrived at the Mattala International Airport (MIA) on Tuesday from Kiev.
No one tested positive from the 180 Ukrainian tourists who reached Sri Lanka on Monday in the first such flight and all of them were subjected to PCR testing upon arrival. Over 1.1 million COVID-19 cases have been reported from Ukraine.

About 67 new cases were detected from the prisons on Wednesday (30.) All of them are men and this brings the total COVID-19 cases detected in prison to 4,016. Out of this 3,272 have recovered.
