Three Defining Moments

The 10 year old is thrown out of his wee hour dream,

He thought he heard his school van,

Screetch outside his door,

And what music that’s to him!

But school joy is not meant to be

He continues grounded at home,

The months turning into years.

Meanwhile, the ancient ministers want one more hour in bed,

They may be excused because their

minds do not have the answers,

Their In trays in shambles.

The executive head is in a quandary,

As never before,

He only wanted a nice stay at the helm,

Now he has to deal with a runaway I’ll.
