Thomians rattle Dharmapala for 29 runs

Akash Fernando and Nathan Caldera shared nine wickets between them as S. Thomas’ rattled Dharmapala for 29 runs on day one of the traditional Under 19 cricket encounter at Mount Lavinia on Tuesday.

Deciding to field first, the Thomians rocked their visitors as Fernando took six wickets for six runs.

In their essay the home team were ten runs for no loss in 2.4 overs when rain curtailed the day’s play.
