Thehan to meet Yasitha in the men’s singles final

Second seed Thehan Wijemanne is set to meet Yasitha de Silva in the men’s singles finals of the 107th Colombo Championships at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts on Tuesday.

The two players secured their places in the final when they edged out Luka Knese and former champion Thangaraja Dineshkanthan in the semi-finals played on Monday.

De Silva from MAS Holdings beat Luka Kense 6-3, 6-4 in his match.

Royal College player Wijemanne was through to the final after Dineshkanthan retired when the second set was 3-3. The final scores read 7-6(4), 3-3.
