The Warehouse scene…

Nimal Jayamanne is still big in the scene here – not only as a singer; he is now a Visiting Lecturer, as well.

Initially, Nimal became a household name with the song ‘Ranpota Thelambuwa.’

In order to keep his local fans entertained, Nimal has teamed up with the band WAREHOUSE, led by Thilak Dias, and they perform on Friday and Saturday nights at the Warehouse café, in Colombo.

Saturday nights are considered to be family nights, when families could come and relax and dine with the live band in attendance, said Nimal.

WAREHOUSE is made up of Senaka Ranasinghe – guitar, Thilak Dias – bass, Keerthi Samarasekara – keyboards, Roshan de Silva – drums, and Nimal Jayamanne – vocals.
