The talk-of-the-town!

When bassist Benjamin Ranabahu decided to put together his own outfit, he had one thing in mind – to do it differently! And, he has certainly succeeded.

Aquarius is now the talk-of-the-town because Benjy has molded his outfit into a showband. And, we don’t have any showbands, in our scene at the moment.

Music lovers, who have seen the current lineup in action, say they are simply fantastic, and much praise is being heaped on vocalist April Schokman.

April joined their scene, recently, and she has already proved that she is better than the best.

And, she shares the vocal spotlight, upfront, with Ruwini and Sajith.

Next month, music lovers would be able to see the showband qualities of Aquarius at a special event, to be held at a five-star venue, in the city.

In the meanwhile, Aquarius will be at The Rodeo, Negombo, on Saturday (24th April) and Sunday (25th April), and this Friday (April 23rd), at Shore By O, Mount Lavinia.
