The Taekwondo Championship-2023

The Taekwondo Championship-2023 tournament for the Korean Ambassador’s Cup, organized jointly by the Sri Lanka Taekwondo Federation and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea got underway recently at National Youth Council (NYC) premises at Maharagama. Two gold medals (green belt), one silver medal (yellow belt) and two bronze medals (yellow belt) were won by students of Holy Cross College, Gampaha. Winners (standing) are Niduli Palliyaguruge (gold medal-11 F), Sithumya Samarasekara (gold medal-6A), Nethra Priyankara (silver medal-7 F), Deneesa Lokuge (bronze medal-10 B) and Sethumi Thehasna Mihindi (bronze medal-8).
