For any event to be a success, the right combination has to be there, and it’s doubly important when it comes to entertainment.

In this instance, Dushyantha Abeyegunawardene has got it right in putting together a stellar lineup of artistes in order to celebrate 39 years in the music industry of his company Symphony (Pvt.) Ltd.

‘Songs of Yesteryear’ will take the form of a sing-along event, with dancing, too, says, Dushyantha, and will bring into the spotlight Mignonne, Suraj, Clifford Richards, Radhika, Ranil, and Daria and Malithra.

And, when it comes to sing-along events, the number one band will be in attendance – Sohan & The X-Periments, with Trishelle.

This combination is certain to give, those who make it to the BMICH Banquet Hall, on Saturday, October 22nd, a memorable evening of entertainment.

What’s more, since this is a sing-along event, the whole family is welcome and you would also have the opportunity of being a star, for a few minutes, by exercising your vocal cords, in the company of some of our known celebrity singers.

For those who prefer to trip the light fantastic, the dance floor is there for you to make it a happening scene.

There’s going to be a baila competition, as well, so come prepared to make all those baila moves!

Handling the evening’s proceedings, and making sure that everything works out, to the satisfaction of those present, will be Faizal Bongso and Sounthi Thavam.
