A group of independent companies of the Sri Lankan entertainment industry recently formed a community of professionals called ‘The Game Changers’, representing music, showbiz, hospitality and leisure and corporate sector.

“The objective of doing so was to give an opportunity to create a shared sense of purpose among all stakeholders of the industry and accomplish great things together for the industry. This will give our team a special boost to have a unified vision which all our companies can share to perform brilliantly in our chosen fields, Imran Saibo of Funtime said.

“Our recent gathering at the Park Street Mews and forming ‘The Game Changers’ community has a clear professional and business intention in addition to the beautiful time we had on that day. We believe in supporting our members to bring out excellent results for their companies. ‘The Game Changers’ forums will enable more brilliant ideas, creativity and intelligent sparks to come from our own members for our increased success. Effective business teams don”t happen by magic. It takes a collaborative group of people to work together in a more understanding, informal setting than adopting a rules-based organizational structure. That’s why we believe that The Game Changers will help reap one another’s experiences and insights to achieve phenomenal success in the future for our stakeholders, their businesses and also contribute to the economic growth of our country”, Prasad Indrajith of Heshan Marquees said.
