The annual Inter-House Sports Meet of St. Benedict’s College

The annual Inter-House Sports Meet of St. Benedict’s College, Primary, Kotahena was held at the school grounds last week with Brigadier L.W.S.R. Wettasinghe gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. The picture shows Cassian House captain Disen Yuhas Nenuka and Athletic captain Damien Joel Wijeratne receiving the trophy from the Chief Guest. Director of St. Benedict’s Rev. Br. Pubudu Rajapaksa (FSC) and the Primary Sub Director Rev. Br. Pravin Vaz (FSC) are also in the picture.

Cassian House with 199 points won the Sports Meet while Claude House with 159 points finished second. Camillus House and Luke House finished third and fourth respectively.

Master Raylan Joel of Cassian House was declared Champion of the under-9 category while Master Geshan Upekshana of Claude House was Under-10 Champion. Master Ashen Imalsha of Camillus House and Master Disen Yuhas Nenuka of Cassian House were Champions of Under-11 category.
