Thanzyl Thajudeen elected to CIPR International Committee for 2024

CIPR International, one of the largest sectoral groups of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the world’s only Royal Chartered body for public relations professionals, has elected Sri Lanka-based senior communications expert Thanzyl Thajudeen to its Committee for 2024.

Thajudeen is a member of CIPR. ‘I look forward to working with some of the most diverse, experienced and talented like-minded colleagues across the region and globally and contribute to both the institution and the profession,’ he added.

The new committee for 2024 was announced at its AGM held on 19 September. Samantha Seewoosurrun was re-elected as Chair and the current Secretary Taazima Kala-Essack was elected as Vice Chair and EDI Champion. Nishika Bajaj was also elected as the new Secretary of the Committee and Stuart Graham remains as Treasurer.

Thajudeen also serves as a Member of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) Asia Pacific Regional Board, and a Council Member of PRCA. He is also a Chartered Marketer and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Thajudeen counts over a decade of experience, having worked in a trio-setting and with a diverse clientele, counseling leadership teams.
