Tense situation at Consular Affairs Division of Foreign Ministry at Ceylinco Building

A tense situation occured at the Consular Affairs Division of the Foreign Ministry located at the Ceylinco Building, in Colombo, yesterday, following a sudden power outage.

Around 100 persons had been at the consular division to obtain various services

Sources said a dispute among the owners of the building had led to the power outage.

Police arrived and brought the situation under control.
