Taiwan Excellence steers social change with #SharingIsCaring themed campaign
Under the digital campaign, it offers sponsorship for social innovation efforts by individuals, NGOs, and social institutions from across the world.
11th August, 2021:
Few people believe that they possess the power to profoundly impact another individual, community, or a society. If this power is multiplied, the moments become a movement that can transform the world to a better place!
In alignment with this thought, Taiwan Excellence launched a global campaign on August 11 through a virtual event. Themed as ‘Sharing is Caring’, this campaign is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative planned on a global level to harness the power of collective passions, expertise and technology.
The project’s objective is to make a difference in the society by providing philanthropists a platform to work on their ideas about social issues, governance and environment protection. Under it, various social institutions, individuals and NGOs are invited to participate and share the causes they would like to work on.
After registering, the entries will go for a qualification review by an advisory committee that will ensure if they abide by the guidelines.
Up to 12 proposals will be shortlisted by the selecting committee and posted on the website for public voting. The top three entries will win an exclusive grant from Taiwan Excellence to work on their #SharingisCaring idea. Extra points will be given to proposals that include Taiwan Excellence’s award-winning products and brands in their innovation.
Top 3 winning proposals to get prize money of USD 10,000 each and will also get an execution budget of USD 150,000 each along with a partner assigned by TAITRA to execute their respective winning idea. With such a massive sum earmarked to fuel the dreams of social innovators, change-makers from across the world are highly motivated to conceptualize projects to make world a better place!
Taiwan Excellence has a rich history of contributing to communities, as well as to global needs through traditional corporate social responsibility. The organization has always sought greater alignment of these activities with their business interests.
