Susantha wins Over 40 Men’s Race

Susantha de Silva won the over 40 Men’s 28 kilometres race of the Nestomalt Cycling Challenge 2022 conducted in Colombo on Sunday. Susantha representing Kadirana Speed Cycle Club, second-placed Geethakantha de Silva (Super Sprint Cycle Club) and third-placed Subash Manjula(Kelani CC) returned a time of 47 minutes and 24 seconds to complete the race.

Lakmal Alwis (Independence C.C) and H.N.P. Silva (Kadirana Cycling Club) finished fourth and fifth respectively. The Over 40 Men’s 28 kilometres event was one of the seven races which took place at the Viharamahadevi Park, Colombo, amidst the cheers of enthusiastic spectators.
