Sunil Perera hospitalised
The legendary Sunil Perera, leader of the famous Gypsies outfit, has been tested positive for Covid-19 and is now hospitalised.
According to his brother, Piyal, right now Sunil is doing fine; no fever the last two days, and his oxygen level is also stable, Piyal said.
Quite a few other local artistes have also been infected with the Covid-19 virus and most of them have been confined to their homes – home quarantine.
In the meanwhile, the authorities have requested the public to refrain from going out, unnecessrily, as the Delta variant is on the rise in Sri Lanka.
Party-goers, nightclub addicts, and those who love outings, take heed.
