Sun Siyam Pasikudah celebrates Sinhala and Tamil New Year

Sun Siyam Pasikudah marked the dawn of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year with a display of fireworks, joined by in-house guests and staffs together with the management. The day was filled with various New Year games, such as Eye on the Elephant (Aliyata Asa Thabeema), Break the Pot (Vasana Muttiya Bindeema), Tug of War (Kamba Andeema), Musical Chair (Sangeetha Putu Tharangaya), Sack Race (Goni Race), Feeding Yoghurt (Yoghurt kaveema), Pop the Balloon (Balloon Pipireema), among others.

Sun Siyam Pasikudah, part of the Sun Siyam Resorts based in the Maldives is highly ambitious and positive that Sri Lanka will keep experiencing a surge in tourists, and shared that the resort is proud to be a part of this journey including attracting locals to visit the East. The country has welcomed over 600,000 tourists as of end March, generating revenue of USD 1.025 billion.
