Sumanthiran accepted NPP’s invitation on behalf of TNA

Former Jaffna District JVP MP Ramalingam Chandrasekaran said that Jaffna District Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP M.A. Sumanthiran was not invited by the JVP-led NPP to attend a recent public meeting in Jaffna, addressed by JVP and JJB leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Chandrasekeran said that Jaffna District TNA MP M.A. Sumanthiran had attended the event without an invitation. The former MP said so addressing a media briefing in Jaffna this week.

However, Chandrasekeran said that the NPP had invited all Jaffna-based political parties to the event.
