Suicide bombers’ father on National List: JVP Leader to be questioned

JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake would soon be questioned for having made Mohammed Ibrahim, father of two of the Easter Sunday suicide bombers, a JVP National List nominee, Ministry of Public Security, Dr. Sarath Weerasekera said yesterday addressing an event in Pettah.

Ibrahim is a billionaire businessman and his sons had spent over Rs. 30 million on the suicide bombing operation, Minister Weerasekera said.

Dr. Weerasekera added that the government would soon arrest the people behind the attacks on the recommendations of the PCoI report on the attacks were already being implemented.
