Celebration who were on the ramp

Celebrity and business leaders were on the ramp at Havelock City with a vision to eradicate polio globally. Rotary District 3220 presented this event called “Stride for Life”

This charity fashion show was a unique initiative aimed at saving lives, dreams, and ensuring that everyone can confidently walk their runway of life. This event was held amidst a large gathering of wellwishers and invitees last weekend,

Under the distinguished leadership of Ms. Bernadine Jayasinghe, Chairman of Rotary Polio Plus, Srilanka, and Maldives, said this event brought together celebrities, business leaders, corporate leaders, doctors, lawyers, fashion designers, authors, stylists, artists, and more, all uniting for a noble cause. These celebrities gave voice to intimate stories of these polio patients struggling to regain thier self esteem’’

Ms. Jayasinghe emphasized the profound notion that “every individual deserves to stride confidently through life. Let’s create hope in this world and radicate polio globally.”

The chief guest,District Governor Rotary District 3220 Jerome Rajendram, emphasised to uphold the promise to eradicate Polio from the face of the earth. He said Rotary has invested over US$2.1 billion in this monumental project.

“Stride for Life”is a humantarian event to support Rotary’s relentless mission to serve people with polio.

This fashion show was choreographed by former Miss Sri Lanka, Rozanne Diasz. The MC for the evening was Kumar de Silva.
