STF nabs suspect transporting refuse tea in a lorry

The STF nabbed a person who had been transporting a stock of substandard tea at Boowelikada in Wellambada on Sunday.

 The suspect was transporting 1,890 kilos of refuse tea in a lorry when the Special Task Force personnel intercepted it.

The suspect is a 31-year-old resident of Wellambada.

The STF later handed over the suspect and the stock of refuse tea to the Wellambada police for legal action.
